June 2023 Meeting Recap

Our June meeting took place this past Friday, and it was another amazing gathering! Here is a quick recap for those who missed it.

‣ Peter Macura, a lawyer working in both Split and Zagreb, gave an incredibly detailed presentation on opening a company and getting a residence permit based on work as well as answered many questions from our members regarding contracts, liability, employee rights, and advice on how to protect yourself. It was a hefty and valuable presentation. We are sure to see more from Peter in the future.

‣ Member introductions: Peter Cortese – The Daltonist Craft Bar, and Flor Nieto – The Inmediato, who is also our new marketing person for FBOA. YAY!

📋 In other news! ‣ The web site is in process. Once it is complete, we will begin the formal process of membership including dues.
