Our May Monthly Meeting was a big turnout! ‣ Wayne Slappy – Investment Strategies.

Here are some highlights!

✔️Why People Invest Investments are made to grow wealth and secure financial stability. Two basic distinctions are active investments (e.g., real estate, day trading) and passive investments (e.g., mutual funds, robo-advisors).

✔️ All investments have risks Risks can be inherent and influenced by investors. Some risks are brought about by behavioral factors such as focusing on outcomes, mental accounting, anchoring, overconfidence, and illusion of control.

✔️ For entrepreneurs, it is most valuable to have both an entry and exit strategy, understand your numbers, and base decisions on accurate and reliable data.

✔️Be a lifelong learner; there are endless avenues to pursue continuous learning, such as certification programs, workshops, trade conferences, and self-study.
